Management Team

Jim graduated from the Actuarial Science program at the University of Waterloo in 1985, and became an Associate of the Society of Actuaries in 1988. Jim has over 20 years experience in the software, benefits consulting, insurance, and real estate industries.

Upon graduation, Jim worked as an actuarial student at Crown Life Insurance Company where he became the company expert on Lotus 1-2-3 and APL programming. Jim left Crown Life to join QW Page Associates where he was the Customer Support Manager overseeing a large team of technical support staff.

Jim's background in support systems served him well as he and a partner founded HelpSTAR.com in 1992. For the next eleven years, Jim was involved in all aspects of growing HelpSTAR from a basement startup to a multi-million dollar leader in the help desk software industry.

In 2003, Jim sold his interest in HelpSTAR and formed the visionary software company We Think Solutions where he serves as the President overseeing all operations.

Jim grew up in the Owen Sound area and now resides in Orangeville with his wife Sandra and their three children. Jim enjoys playing sports and spending time with his family.
